Potential Collaboration

The University of Chicago Data Science for Social Good team is looking to find partners to expand on their work with Mesa Public School this summer to tackle the following problems:

1.    Identify students have the potential to succeed in college but are unlikely to attend a university or four-year college.

2.    Rank these students in order of likelihood of that risk

3.    Collaboratively design and identify interventions (through various channels) that are personalized to these students and have the most chance of improving the student outcomes.

Details about the fellowship program are at http://dssg.uchicago.edu. More details about the work done with Mesa Public Schools last summer is available from joreilly@mpsaz.org. You can contact us at rayid@uchicago.edu for more information.
